About One Wellness
One Wellness is a health and wellness centre offering Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Exercise Physiology, Fitness Training and Sports Medicine. We also have a state-of-the-art Recovery Zone which includes polar plunge tubs, infrared saunas, aromatherapy steam room, cedar sauna, and more.
One Wellness is seeking a positive, self-motivated, responsible and professional candidate with a passion for service excellence.
Details
- Pay: $22.00 per hour
- Shifts: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm depending on scheduling needs

Requirements
- Must have background in Guest Service, Medical clinic, Retail sales, Hospitality and/or Reception experience
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must have a passion and natural inclination for Guest Service and Health and Wellness
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must possess professional presentation
- Ability to focus attention on the Guests, Clients and Members’ needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently as well as cohesively as part of the team
- Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have computer literacy and previous reservation software and POS experience
- Ability to accurately handle cash and various methods of payment
- Must have a valid Work Visa
- Preferable to commit to a minimum of 1-year of employment
Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, One Wellness Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as a representative of One Wellness and be knowledgeable of their services and facility offerings.
- Strictly enforce the privacy and confidentiality of Guest, Client and Member information
- Processing of various method of payments accurately
- Complete reservations, check-in, and check-out procedures accurately and with service excellence
- Monitor and maintain the physical environment of One Wellness ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
- Demonstrate pride in work by creating positive energy, team work, excitement and fun
- Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment through personal empowerment, using good judgment and the ability to multi-task
- Follow all health and safety policies and ensure the safety of Guests, Client, Members and Colleagues and identify and report safety concerns and hazards immediately
- Perform light cleaning duties daily
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25lbs
- Frequent ascending and descending stairs and ramps
