What happens during my first appointment?

Your first appointment includes a comprehensive assessment of your health history, training background, movement patterns, strength, mobility, balance, and personal goals. Based on your assessment, your coach will develop a personalized training program designed to help you achieve your objectives safely and effectively.

What types of exercises are included?

 Your program may include:

  • Resistance training
  • Functional strength exercises
  • Core strengthening
  • Mobility and flexibility training
  • Balance and stability exercises
  • Plyometric training
  • Speed and agility drills
  • Cardiovascular conditioning
  • Injury prevention exercises
  • Sport-specific training

Every program is individualized based on your goals and abilities.

Yes. Improving strength, mobility, movement quality, balance, and coordination can help reduce the risk of many common injuries. Your program will focus on correcting movement limitations and building resilience for sport, work, and daily activities.

Can strength and conditioning improve athletic performance?

Absolutely. Strength and conditioning programs are designed to help athletes improve strength, power, speed, endurance, agility, coordination, and overall performance while supporting safe progression throughout training.

Can strength and conditioning help me after an injury?

Yes. Once you've been cleared for exercise, strength and conditioning can help bridge the gap between rehabilitation and returning to sport or regular physical activity. Programs are designed to safely rebuild strength, confidence, endurance, and performance while reducing the risk of re-injury.

What if I'm new to the gym?

No problem. Programs are designed for all experience levels. Your coach will teach proper exercise technique, explain how to use equipment safely, and progress your program at a pace that matches your abilities and confidence.

How often should I attend?

The ideal frequency depends on your goals, schedule, and training experience. Some clients attend once a week for coaching and program progression, while others participate in multiple supervised sessions each week.

Will I receive a personalized training program?

Yes. Every client receives an individualized program based on their goals, movement assessment, fitness level, and progress. Your program is adjusted over time to ensure continued improvement and reduce the risk of plateaus.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Please bring clean indoor athletic shoes, as outdoor footwear is not permitted in the clinic or gym area.

Can I use the gym before or after my appointment?

Yes. Strength and conditioning clients are welcome to use the gym for up to 30 minutes before or after their scheduled appointment to warm up, cool down, or complete additional prescribed exercises. Please remember to bring clean indoor athletic shoes, as outdoor footwear is not permitted in the clinic or gym area.

Is strength training safe for youth athletes?

Yes. When appropriately supervised and tailored to the individual's age, maturity, and experience, strength training is considered safe and can help improve strength, coordination, athletic performance, and confidence while reducing the risk of sports-related injuries.

Can strength and conditioning help older adults?

Absolutely. Strength training is one of the most effective ways to maintain muscle mass, improve balance, increase bone health, enhance mobility, and support independence as we age. Programs are individualized to match each person's abilities and health goals.
