How long should a visit to Recovery Zone be?

For maximal results, we recommend about 20 minutes per amenity.

With some rest time between amenities, most guests spend 2-3 hours in the facility.

How long is a day pass valid?

A day pass is valid for the entire day, on the day it is purchased.

You are welcome to come and go from the facility as you please for the whole day during opening hours. Try to plan your visit in advance to make the most out of the facility.

How often should I use the Recovery Zone?

There is no limit to how often you can use the Recovery Zone. However, it is beneficial to use it 3 days per week or more.

Do I need to make a reservation?

No, the facility is open booking upon arrival. However, if you book in advance through our online booking system, you will automatically be sent the waivers, which can be completed in advance saving you valuable time on your arrival.

Can the Recovery Zone accommodate groups?

Yes, the Recovery Zone can accommodate groups. However, please note that this is not an exclusive reservation for your group alone.

Do you have parking?

Yes, our clients have access to the Solara Resort heated parkade. You will be provided with a code for entrance and directions to find us upon booking.

What should I bring?

Essentials to bring:

  • Swimsuit (must be worn in public areas)

  • Towel (rental available for $2)

  • Clean Athletic Shoes (for gym)

  • Athletic Attire (for gym)

Optional, but a good idea:

  • Sandals (clean & waterproof)

  • Water bottle

  • Ear buds (just don't get them wet)

  • Robe

If I purchase a membership, can I put it on hold?

If you purchase a 12 month Auto-Renew membership, you can put your membership on hold 2 times during your term for a minimum of 2 weeks, and a maximum of 2 months for each hold. All other memberships cannot be put on hold or cancelled.

Is compression therapy safe?

Yes, compression therapy is safe. However, if you're pregnant or have ever been diagnosed with a heart condition or DVT (deep vein thrombosis), please consult your health practitioner before using compression therapy.

Is contrast hydrotherapy safe? (Hot/Cold therapy - saunas, steam, polar plunge)

Yes, contrast hydrotherapy is safe. However, you should not use the facilities if you are pregnant, have cardiovascular issues, have open wounds, have a tendency to experience dizziness or fainting, and/or have hypersensitivity to cold (or heat). If you have any medical conditions, please see your medical professional to determine if the Recovery Zone is right for you.

Are infrared saunas safe?

Yes, but you should not use the infrared sauna if you are:

  • Pregnant
  • Claustrophobic
  • Have orthostatic hypotension
  • Have epilepsy
  • Have a history of heart problems
  • Have rheumatoid arthritis in the acute inflammatory phase
