The body is an amazing resilient machine and Lynne gets great job satisfaction helping the amazing people in her community realize this, as she guides them to recover from injuries, surgery or illness.
Her professional interests include skiing & mountain sport injuries, ACL & knee injury rehab, arthritis management and post op rehab.
Her Physio style is exercise based, and includes hands-on techniques, acupuncture/IMS needling and education. She highly encourages getting active in any way, and she guides her patients to achieve optimal movement quality.
Lynne has taken numerous post-graduate courses, including manual/manipulative therapy, Dynamic core, ACL injury prevention, Vestibular Rehab and many acupuncture/IMS courses. She has lots of experience with post ops, especially ACL and knee surgeries.
Lynne was a World Cup alpine ski racer, a competitive gymnast, Alberta ski team & University of Alaska NCAA ski team member, a soccer player and she was inducted into the Alberta Alpine ski racing Hall of Fame. She combines her skills as a Physio and an athlete to help you keep moving and get strong & fit.
Lynne enjoys working with athletes and has been a part of the medical team for the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, Canadian Ski Cross team, Alpine World Championships, the 2018 Alpine Ski Canada Winter Games & the 2020 World Winter Transplant Games, etc. She enjoys working with local teams, and volunteering at various community events. Lynne’s interests are all things outside in the mountains- skiing, mtn biking, hiking, paddleboarding & enjoying the view with family, friends and her pup. Happy adventuring!
